Headline Story
Jana delivers newspapers. Suppose you knew how much the company pays Jana for each paper she delivers, how many papers she delivers in an hour, and how many papers she delivers in all. What could you figure out from that information?
Possible student responses
- We could figure out how much Jana makes.
- We could also figure out how much Jana makes in an hour or how many hours she works.
