Five million minutes! Is that greater than a day? a week? a month? a year? your age?
Possible student responses
I divided 5,000,000 minutes by 60 and found the number of hours (over 83,000). Then I divided again by 24 to find the number of days (almost 3,500) which is less than 10 years (10 × 365 = 3,650). 5,000,000 minutes is greater than day, greater than a week, and greater than a month. 5 million minutes is about the same as my age.
