Possible student responses
- Karen might have 59 blue pencils and 1 green pencil.
- She might have 30 pencils of each color.
- She might have more green pencils than blue pencils.
- She has at least one pencil of each color.
- If she has an odd number of one color, she has an odd number of the other color, too.
