Headline Story
Lena is in charge of buying juice for a school party. How can she estimate the total cost?
Possible student responses
- She can estimate how many people will be at the party and how many cups of juice, on average, each person will want.
- She will need to know how many cups are in a bottle of juice, the number of bottles she will need, the cost of one bottle, and the total cost of all the bottles.
