To figure the volume of a rectangular box, multiply length × width × height. If a rectangular box has a volume of 60 cubic units and height of 4 units, what are some of the possibilities for its other two dimensions?
Because the height is 4, length × width × 4 = 60. Length × width must be 15, because 15 × 4 = 60. So, length and width could be 3 and 5 or 1 and 15 or 2 and 7.
