Possible student responses
- She might walk 3 blocks east and then 3 blocks north.
- She could walk 1 block west and 5 blocks north.
- Some possible routes are ENENEN, SSWWWS, EEEESS, and NNWWWW.
- Her school could be 4 blocks south and 2 blocks east of her house.
