A group of students shared 120 cookies. What can you say about the number of students and the number of cookies they each got?
Possible student responses
- If there were 3 students, they could each have 40 cookies.
- If there were 4 students, they would each get only 30.
- If there were 12 students, they would each get 10.
- The more students there are, the fewer cookies they each get.
