Lunch periods just got complicated! Lori’s lunch period is still just after Dan’s, and just before Paige’s, but Lori’s lunch period was lengthened to 
hour. The other two are 
of an hour. One of the lunch periods still begins at 11:10. When could the others begin?
Possible student responses
- If Dan’s lunch begins at 11:10, Lori’s begins at 11:30 and Paige’s begins at 12 noon.
- If Lori’s lunch begins at 11:10, Dan’s lunch begins at 10:50 and Paige’s begins at 11:40.
- If Paige’s lunch begins at 11:10, Dan’s begins at 10:20 and Lori’s begins at 10:40.
