Introduction
The goal of Headline Stories is for children to translate situations and information into problems that can be answered mathematically. Discuss with children what information they know and what information is missing from the story.

If I have less than 4 quarters, I have less than $1.00.
If I have 2 quarters, I have 50¢.
If I have 3 quarters, I have 75¢.
No matter how many quarters I have, my total is going to end in 0 or 5.
