Read the Headline Story to children, and have them use the information to create interesting problems. They know that each tile costs 12¢; they don’t know how much it would cost to buy any number of these tiles.

- Ten tiles would cost $1.20.
- One hundred tiles would cost $12.00.
- We could use a table find the cost of different numbers of tiles!
