- There are as many seconds in a minute as there are minutes in an hour.
- There are 30 seconds in half a minute.
- There are 120 seconds in 2 minutes.
- The time it takes to say “one one-thousand” or “one Mississippi” is about a second.
- There are 60 times 60 seconds in an hour, or 3,600 seconds.
