Samantha climbed two rocks at the park. One rock was 5 feet high. The other rock was 7 feet high.
Possible student responses
- The second rock was taller than the first rock.
- The first rock was 2 feet shorter than the second rock.
- How much climbing did Samantha do? She climbed up 12 feet and down 12 feet?
- If Samantha is 4 feet tall, the top of her head was 11 feet above the ground when she was standing on top of the taller rock.
