Possible student responses
- Because the number is a multiple of 30, the ones digit must be 0.
- The number must be a 3-digit number.
- The multiples of 30 with 1 as the hundreds digit are 120, 150, and 180. The next multiple of 30 is 210, but 210 is greater than 209, so that can’t be the number.
