A certain three-digit number is a multiple of 25 and 4. It is less than 500.
Possible student responses
- If the number is a multiple of 25 and 4, it must also be a multiple of 25 × 4 = 100.
- Since we cannot count 0 as a three-digit number, the number must be 100, 200, 300, or 400.
