Headline Story
Maria made a list of items in her house with similar shapes. The list included refrigerator, book, cereal box, crayon box, and stereo speaker.
Possible student responses
- All the objects on the list are 3-dimensional and rectangular.
- All are prisms.
- Maria might have included VCR tape, DVD player, shoebox, dresser, and photo album on her list.
- All these objects have flat tops and 6 faces.
- All the faces are rectangular.
