## Purpose

To match numeral and quantity up to 7.

Write a number from 1 to 7 on the board, but do not say the name of the number. Have children demonstrate the number by holding up the same number of fingers. Have children compare different ways to show the number. Repeat with other numbers.

Part 1 has children show the number written using one or two hands. Part 2 moves to showing the number in a* different* way.
